NJ補習授業校・茶の湯クラブ

🍵2024年度、約40名の方々が茶の湯クラブに参加してくださいました！

クラスは初級・中級に分かれ、所作や礼儀作法、道具の扱いなどを中心にお点前の基本を丁寧に練習しました。

年間7〜8回という限られた回数ながらも、生徒たちの着実な成長にはいつも感動させられます✨

今年はブルックリンの公立高校とのコラボで市民茶会も開催し、講師宅の本格的な茶室では初釜も行いました。忘れがたい貴重な体験となりました。

アメリカで茶道の精神と日本文化を伝えることの喜びを、これからも大切にしていきたいと思います🌿

🍵 In 2024, about 40 participants joined our tea ceremony club!

Students practiced temae at beginner and intermediate levels, focusing on posture, etiquette, and utensil handling.

Despite meeting only 7–8 times a year, their steady progress is inspiring!

We also hosted a public tea gathering in collaboration with a Brooklyn public high school. We held our Hatsugama at the instructor’s in a real tea room — an unforgettable experience.

Sharing the spirit of tea and Japanese culture here in the U.S. is truly rewarding. 🌿
