学校茶道「ブライトウォーター ウォルドルフ校茶道クラス」が 茶室での初のお稽古をしました。
シアトル特別地区が行っている公益事業のひとつ、ブライトウォーター ウォルドルフ校の８年生（中学２年生）日本語クラスにおいての茶道の授業が再開されました。これから、２０２２年６月卒業まで、週１回茶道を勉強します。
目標は、卒業前の５月に、生徒は父兄を学校に招いて、それぞれ自分の父兄にお茶を一服差し上げます。まずは、お茶室で茶道を体験してもらいました。この時期にちなんで、亥の子もちと秋の和三盆の和菓子を召し上がっていただきました。 Bright Water Waldorf School 8th grade Japanese tea ceremony class started.
This Japanese tea ceremony class is supported by Seattle Special district. This is one of our public outreach activities. The first class was held at the real tearoom today. They will study tea ceremony once a week until June at classroom. Their final goal is invite parents to the school to make a bowl of tea for their parents before their graduation in May.
