フロリダのブロワード郡全域のヴァーチャルスクール日本文化祭りで、茶の湯のプレゼンテーションと短いレクチャー及び質疑応答を行いました。初めて日本文化に触れる生徒さんや先生からの活発な質問をいただきました。スクリーン越しだという大きな制約はあるものの、この短い経験が、若くて柔軟な心に植えられた小さなお茶の木の種として、いつの日か大きく成長することを願っています。
During Japan Week, this demonstration introduced Japanese Tea Ceremony to students and teachers learning the Japanese language & culture in the Broward Virtual School system in Florida. We gave a demonstration in the ryurei style, a short lecture, and Q & A session. Online tea sessions without tasting have a significant limitation, but it may have been most participants' first and only opportunity to experience the Japanese tea ceremony. We hope this brief experience will grow like a tiny tea tree seed planted in a young and flexible mind.
