古川 周賢（ふるかわ しゅうけん）老大師をお迎えし、禅と茶道をテーマにご講演いただきました。パワーポイント、動画を使い、深い禅の教えをわかりやすく興味深く語ってくださいました。又全員の質疑応答にも丁寧に答えてくださり、オンラインながらの一座建立となりました。又視聴者の方からの謝礼全額＄844を東部支部の今後の活動資金として使うようご配慮いただきました。東部支部として今後必要になるオンラインでの同時通訳の機能を使い、東部から世界に発信できる実績となりました。
We invited Rev. Furukawa Shuken to give a lecture on the theme of Zen and tea ceremony. Using PowerPoint and videos, he talked about deep Zen teachings in an easy-to-understand and interesting way. In addition, questions and answers were discussed carefully, and it became "Ichiza Konryu" while online. Rev. Furukawa kindly suggested that the donations of $844 from the participants be used for future activities of the Eastern Branch. In addition, we could use the online simultaneous interpretation function that will be needed in the future as an eastern branch; we have achieved a track record of transmitting from the East coast to the world.
