茶道クラブ主催、大学外からの参加者も含むTea Expo 2026。表千家は初日は略点前・薄茶での呈茶も入れてのレクチャー、そして二日目は参加者が二つのグループに分かれて濃茶のデモンストレーション、濃茶の呈茶、及び薄茶体験とビデオ。茶道クラブ会員にとっても一年の締めくくりとして通常のお稽古より内容の深い和敬清寂の体験となり、”今までで一番美味しい濃茶”だったとの発言などもあった。
Northeastern Tea Expo 2026, organized by Penn State tea club, was attended by Tea Club members, other Penn State students, and members of the surrounding community. The lecture on the first day was followed by a Koicha (thick tea) demonstration and Koicha service on the second day. For tea club members, the event was the culmination of the year's practice, deepening the understanding of the spirit of Chanoyu, and "the best Koicha I ever tasted!"
