Tea demonstration and workshop at Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest

Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest は2017年に学校茶道校に登録され、毎年学年末に日本語クラスで茶道体験を行なっています。パンデミック以来3年ぶりの開催となりました。まずは茶道体験をしてもらい、その後各自で茶を点ててもらいました。茶道を通じてよりいっそう日本文化に興味を持ってもらいたいと思います。

Northern Valley Regional HS at Demarest enrolled in the school tea ceremony program in 2017. Before the pandemic, we wold hold a tea ceremony experience in their Japanese classes every year at the end of the school year. This was the first in three years.We had the students experience a tea ceremony, and then they made their own tea. We hope that the students become more interested in Japanese culture through their experience with tea ceremony.
